- Novelty anything. The gift that gets described as fun is usually the one still in its box.
- Gadgets. If she wanted it, she has it, and if she does not, it needs charging.
- Anything requiring a free afternoon. Check the expiry date on vouchers before buying.
- Another candle, unless you know the exact one she burns.
- Jewellery, unless you have been told what to buy.
